78747 Building Permits: Corvallis, Rotunda and Furman’s Recurring Flow

Last reviewed September 17, 2026 · City of Austin issued permit records · Kimbrough Gray · KiliGray Homes
The 78747 records combine recurring street activity with a notable Stockman Drive grouping. Corvallis, Rotunda and Furman account for almost half the new units in the September 2026 review. Stockman demonstrates why even a series made entirely of one-unit building contributions can contain several buildings at one base address.
Applies to: Austin-issued residential records in ZIP 78747; buildings with five or more units excluded.

Local findings: September 2026 review

Reviewed 2026-09-17; records observed 2026-09-15. Period: September 2025–August 2026. Findings describe that saved window; the current comparison above can advance separately.

Three recurring streets account for ninety-four units

Corvallis Drive contributes 37 units, Rotunda View 29 and Furman Drive 28. Their combined 94 units sit within a ZIP total of 204, compared with 154 in the previous year. Corvallis and Furman each appear in eight months; Rotunda appears in six consecutive months from March through August 2026. The records show recurring authorizations on these streets rather than one issuance date for the whole annual total.

One-unit records do not always mean one building address

All 204 contributing building records carry one unit each, but they resolve to 198 base addresses. At 6401 Stockman and 6412 Stockman, four records per address contribute eight units in July. The repeated building labels explain the difference between record count and base-address count. They do not establish attached form, a legal lot count or a common sales arrangement.

July’s peak includes more than the Stockman grouping

July is the largest month with 33 units. The eight units at those two Stockman addresses account for part of it, leaving 25 elsewhere. For a competition review, it is useful to follow the recurring Corvallis, Rotunda and Furman records alongside that July grouping, then check each property’s actual stage before inferring simultaneous deliveries.

Send us an address and we will tell you what we find

We do this research ourselves on every project we take on — zoning, floodplain, watershed, trees, whether it is a legal lot. Send us an address and we will run it and tell you what we find. It works the same whether you own a vacant lot, a house you are thinking of adding a unit to, or a house you are thinking of replacing. No charge and no strings, and if it is a bad lot we will say so.

We are homebuilders, not the City of Austin. This page explains how we read the code in practice — it is not legal advice and it is not an official determination. Always confirm with Austin Development Services before you rely on it for a project. The authoritative text is the Austin Land Development Code; permitting questions go to Austin Development Services Department.
